Responsibility and Authority


Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Proactively encourage the Facility Team, and champion by example, the highest regard for the purpose and values of “We LEAD” with integrity, while ensuring the health, safety and hygiene of all staff are monitored for compliance;

• Liaise with the unit Maintenance Manager to ensure that the annual Unit-specific Verification Audit

Plan is integrated into the Operations and Maintenance Plan;

• Ensure compliance with Performance Standards on Safety and Environmental Critical Elements (SECE) including periodic checks, maintenance and recording of Life Saving Appliances and Firefighting Equipment in the CMMS.

• Assist the Safety Superintendent in overseeing the Safety Observation Card programme on the Unit from registration through to suitable close-out;

• Champion Safety and Environmental excellence;

• Assist the Safety Superintendent to implement the Health, Safety, Security and Environmental familiarization of all persons joining the Unit;

• Assist the Safety Superintendent to Develop Unit-specific emergency response drills and exercise scenarios, facilitate the debriefing process and ensure lessons learned are acted on including sending reports sent to the OIM and onshore Operational Integrity support in a timely manner;

• Provide HSE support and regulatory compliance advice to Line Management and Safety

Representatives during Unit meetings;

• Support Line Management to carry out effective, timely incident and near miss investigations;

• Ensure compliance with Performance Standards on Safety and Environmental Critical Elements (SECE) including periodic checks, maintenance and recording of Life Saving Appliances and Firefighting Equipment testing in the CMMS.

• Lead by example the effective application of the SYPOL Control of Substances Hazardous to Health

(COSHH) system;

• Assist the Safety Superintendent to monitor effective implementation of the Permit to Work system;

• Assist in competency assessment process;

• Participate in the Offshore Management Review.

• Additional tasks as assigned by the OIM.

Qualification Requirements:


Education

• Have completed Formal High School education or Higher

• Ideally have completed a degree in Occupational Health and Safety or similar, but lack of formal education may be compensated by long relevant experience.

• Have completed NEBOSH General Certificate

• Major Emergency Management Initial Response.


Experience:


• 5-10 years as an industrial safety officer or relevant experience in the oil and gas or marine environments.

🎯 Profil recherché

·       Baccalauréat en génie civil, membre de l’OIQ, avec 5 à 10 ans d’expérience au Québec

·       Excellente connaissance des normes et pratiques liées au BNQ, MELCCFP, MTQ, ainsi que de la réglementation montréalaise

·       Bonnes connaissances en hydraulique et hydrologie urbaine

Mission :

Dans le cadre du projet, le Chef de projets aura la charge des projets périphériques autour de la centrale suivants :

· Une route d’accès d’une distance de 800m, avec l’appui d’un ingénieur conseil,

· Une installation d’évacuation des eaux pluviales (suivi de chantier),

Sous la direction de la maîtrise d’ouvrage, il sera en interaction avec l’assistance à maîtrise d’ouvrage, les sous-traitants déjà en place sur le projet de la centrale.

Activités Principales :

· Elaborer et rédiger les cahiers de charges des projets,

· Etudier la faisabilité technique des projets et définir les ressources nécessaires,

· Définir les chemins critiques et estimer les temps requis pour l'exécution des projets,

· Suivre, mettre à jour et veiller au respect du planning,

· Opérer la liaison entre les équipes techniques et le chef de projet, entre le chef de projet et les prestataires,

· Informer la hiérarchie de l'état d'avancement des projets et remonter les difficultés terrain afin d’adapter la stratégie,

· Suivre les travaux des chantiers périphériques,

Formation :

· Issu(e) d’une formation Bac+5 /Master 2 de type ingénieur BTP, Génie Civil, management de projet,

Connaissances et compétences techniques :

· Connaissances et expérience en matière de BTP, Génie Civil, voirie et gestion de projet,

· Maîtrise des outils informatiques liés à la gestion de projets,

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the utility systems;

• Maintain watch. Operate Operator Station;

• Perform condition monitoring and troubleshooting of the utility systems;

• Perform first line maintenance of the utility systems;

• Perform bunkering operations;

• Ensure Control Room is kept tidy and in good order;

• Carry out relevant tests and inspection routines as per Computerised Maintenance

Management system.

• Identify and report utility systems maintenance requirements;

• Perform sampling and analysis on utility systems to ensure optimization in accordance with requirements;

• Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning;

• Liaise with other departments for coordination of maintenance and operation activities;

Responsibility and authority

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Assist in marine operations i.e. mooring/ unmooring, hose and hawser operations etc.;

• Assist in cargo operations i.e. loading / discharging of crude, Crude Oil Washing, slop and ballast water transfer, sampling etc.;

• Assist in lifting operations and personnel transfer. Act as a slinger / signaler;

• Assist in supply vessel operations. Undertake receiving and handling of stores and supplies;

• Assist in inspections, first line and preventive maintenance of Life Saving Appliances and Fire

Fighting Equipment;

• Assist in inspections of lifting appliances (slings, shackles, running gear etc.);

• Perform deck watch keeper duties. Carry out routine rounds, take and report readings.

Monitor export tanker position;

• Assist in condition monitoring of cargo and marine equipment on deck and in the pump room.

Report abnormalities;

• Perform housekeeping of deck areas, accommodation, enclosed and machinery spaces; Ensure cleanliness is maintained;

• Assist in tank entry safety arrangements and equipment preparation;

• Perform tank works (cleaning, scale removal and maintenance assistance);

• Erect and dismantle scaffolding;

• Assist in helicopter operations;

• Perform waste collection, segregation and processing;

• Assist in corrective maintenance activities on process, utility and marine equipment;

• Perform in cargo hose and mooring hawser maintenance including maintenance performed from the work boat;

• Use and maintain hand tools and instruments;

• Use the Permit to Work system. Follow the Permit to Work procedures. Complete the required checklists. Prepare the worksite. Ensure safe conditions are maintained. Close the Permit;

• Undertake training relevant to the position requirements;

• Perform other work as specified by Head of Department;

Assist in all cargo operations i.e. loading / discharging of crude, crude oil washing, ballast, cargo and slop tanks’ transfers, ullaging and/or sounding of cargo, slop, ballast tanks and void spaces, sampling etc.;

Perform condition monitoring and troubleshooting of cargo and relevant utility systems and equipment as per Computerised Maintenance Management System;

Assist in tank entry preparations and tank inspections;

Assist to prepare cargo equipment for maintenance. Isolate, depressurize and drain. Ensure equipment is gas free;

Identify and report marine, cargo and relevant utility systems maintenance requirements;

Perform first line and preventive maintenance on cargo handling machinery and equipment as per Computerised Maintenance Management System;

Assist in routine and non-routine maintenance on mechanical equipment for marine, production and utility systems;

Use and maintain hand tools and instruments. Use workshop equipment;

Keep pump room tidy and in good order. Perform structural maintenance of pump room spaces;

Ensure sufficient stock of relevant spare parts and consumables;
